Before you reach out
- Make sure Keeper is up to date — most issues are fixed in the latest version from the App Store.
- Restart the app. It sounds obvious, but it clears the majority of syncing and display glitches.
- Check your device's date, time, and iCloud/network connection — Keeper relies on these to sync your data.
- If a specific entry (an expense, task, or note) looks wrong, note roughly when you added it — it helps us find it fast.
Account & data
Do I need an account to use Keeper?
Keeper works with a lightweight account so your spending, tasks, and notes can sync across your devices and stay backed up. You won't be asked for anything beyond what's needed to keep your data safely yours.
How do I back up or transfer my data to a new phone?
As long as you're signed in to the same account, your spending history, tasks, and notes sync automatically — just install Keeper on the new device and sign in. If something doesn't appear after a few minutes, try a manual refresh from the app's settings, or reach out and we'll help you track it down.
How do I delete my account and data?
Email us at info@keeper-kw.com from the address on your account and ask for deletion. We'll confirm with you and remove your data from our systems — this can't be undone, so we'll always double-check before acting on it.
Privacy & security
Is my financial and personal information safe?
Yes. Your spending, tasks, and notes are private to your account — we don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. Keeper only collects what it needs to function.
Does Keeper connect directly to my bank?
Keeper is built around what you log yourself, not a live bank-account connection. That's a deliberate choice — fewer permissions requested, less of your financial data touched by third parties.
Using the app
Is Keeper free?
Keeper's core features — tracking spending, tasks, and notes — are free to use. Any future paid extras will always be clearly labeled before you're asked to pay for anything.
Which devices does Keeper support?
Keeper is built for iOS. If you're running into trouble, let us know your device model and iOS version when you write in — it speeds things up considerably.
I found a bug — what should I include when reporting it?
The most useful bug reports include: what you were doing right before it happened, what you expected, what happened instead, and your device model and iOS version. A screenshot helps too, if you can attach one.
Can I request a feature?
Always welcome. Send it to info@keeper-kw.com — we read every suggestion, even if we can't reply to each one individually right away.
